On November 10, the Conference on Expanding Opening‑up to Promote High‑Quality Economic Development and Advancing the Construction of the Inland Open Economy Pilot Zone of Jiangxi Province was held in Nanchang. As one of the three enterprises invited to speak, Jiangxi Wodeer Technology Group shared its development practice of taking root in Jiangxi while connecting with the global market. Chairman Mr. Liuxiao Huang recounted the company’s growth story to illustrate Jiangxi’s vibrant momentum of opening‑up and expressed deep recognition and confidence in the province’s business environment.

The conference served as a major gathering to build consensus on opening‑up and jointly chart a blueprint for development. Mr. Hong Yin, Secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote address, while Jianchun Ye, Governor of Jiangxi Province, presided over the conference. The provincial Party committee and government clearly emphasized the need to further deepen both domestic and international opening‑up, promote development through opening‑up, and advance the construction of the inland open‑economy pilot zone to high standards. They reaffirmed a balanced approach that combines “Going global” with “Bringing in”, and called for solid efforts in promoting two‑way opening‑up to benefit all parties. The meeting also highlighted the acceleration of building a high‑level open‑economy system and intensifying efforts to establish Jiangxi as a leading hub for reform and opening‑up in inland regions.

As a participant, beneficiary, and active promoter of Jiangxi’s inland open‑economy development, Wodeer’s invitation to speak at the conference represented not only an honor but also a responsibility. It fully demonstrated the recognition and affirmation by the provincial Party committee and government of private enterprises that are committed to the real economy and proactive in expanding opening‑up. From Taizhou in Zhejiang to Yingtan in Jiangxi, and from a single product line to a comprehensive full‑industry‑chain layout, Wodeer’s growth trajectory serves as a vivid illustration of Jiangxi’s open development. In 2017, with both anticipation and uncertainty, Wodeer first set foot in Yujing—then a region without an established automotive parts industry. However, the “Jiangxi speed”, which saw the project progress from land acquisition to production in less than one year, together with the government’s attentive support through proactive policy delivery and one‑stop, end‑to‑end assistance, completely dispelled the company’s concerns and enabled it to take root with confidence.

Today, Wodeer has expanded from its initial Phase I project to Phase IX, achieving vertical integration across the industrial chain—from sensors and actuators to die casting, recycled aluminum, and intelligent equipment manufacturing. On the fertile ground of Yujing, the company has cultivated a highly synergistic and efficient industrial ecosystem. With a research team of more than 800 professionals, Wodeer has filed over 500 patents to date. Several of its core products hold the leading position in domestic niche markets, and the company now supplies components for more than 50 million vehicles worldwide each year. Through continuous technological innovation, Wodeer has built a solid foundation for high‑level opening‑up and sustainable development. Secretary Mr. Hong Yin’s remark that “attracting one enterprise can lead to the formation of an entire industry” stands as the most compelling testament to this mutual, two‑way commitment and shared advancement between government and enterprise.

Five years ago, Wodeer changed its Chinese name from “沃得尔” to “bb贝博艾弗森,” replacing the character meaning “gain” with one signifying “virtue and integrity.” This change reflected a belief that has since guided the company’s development: pursuing growth and efficiency while shouldering responsibility and accountability. Today, the Yujing Industrial Park has grown from a zero base toward a projected industrial cluster with a scale of RMB 30 billion, becoming a model for Jiangxi in undertaking industrial transfer and fostering a sound industrial ecosystem.

Rooted in the Jiangxi region, Wodeer has never slowed its pace of opening‑up. Its Stuttgart R&D and manufacturing base integrates global innovation resources, while its presence at the Munich Auto Show has demonstrated the strength of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China.” The successful commissioning of the Malaysia production base has established a manufacturing hub serving Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Wodeer’s global R&D headquarters is set to move into Hangzhou’s landmark “Hangzhou Gate”, shaping a new pattern of global manufacturing, global R&D, and global markets. In terms of industrial‑chain collaboration, the company has deepened partnerships with leading global semiconductor suppliers such as Allegro. Leveraging Allegro’s advanced TMR technology together with Wodeer’s large‑scale mass‑production capabilities, the two sides are jointly driving the intelligent and electrified transformation of the automotive industry—connecting Jiangxi’s advanced manufacturing with the forefront of global innovation.
