On the morning of May 14, the centralized signing ceremony for industry–education integration in Yingtan City and the opening ceremony of the Fifth New‑Era Secondary Vocational School Skills Competition of Yingtan City were grandly held at Jiangxi Wodeer Technology Group.
At the signing ceremony, relevant leaders from Wodeer participated in the signing of school–enterprise cooperation agreements for on site engineers, order based class and company named class training programs. This series of agreements will further promote closer collaboration between enterprises and schools, and also signals that more educational resources will be aligned with industrial needs in the future, injecting fresh talent into the company.
In recent years, Wodeer has actively responded to the national call for industry–education integration and has established strong cooperative relationships with multiple vocational institutions, including the Copper Industry College of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Yingtan Applied Engineering School, and Yingtan Vocational and Technical School. Through these partnerships, the company has jointly cultivated successive groups of high‑quality and highly skilled professionals. Not long ago, at the Provincial Conference on Advancing the Optimization of the Business Environment, Chairman Mr. Liuxiao Huang put forward proposals on promoting industry–education integration, calling for an expanded scope of school–enterprise cooperation to support the introduction of high‑end talent. Following this, leading officials of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission personally organized relevant departments to conduct in‑depth studies. Relevant departments of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department and the Provincial Department of Education also promptly proposed implementation measures, clearly expressing support for Wodeer’s participation in and promotion of cooperation platforms with related educational institutions. According to representatives of Wodeer, participating in and hosting this event is a positive response to these initiatives and a meaningful practical step toward advancing industry–education integration.
Driven by vision and commitment, we continue to advance sustainable development and future growth. As more schools and enterprises join hands, the “Thousands of Teachers and Tens of Thousands of Students Entering Enterprises” initiative continues to be implemented in depth. Through close industry–education integration with universities and vocational colleges, Wodeer arranges for students from order based class training programs to undertake on the job internships at the company for periods of eight months or longer. During the internship period, dedicated training coordinators provide continuous guidance, closely monitor students’ progress, and offer targeted support. These students are cultivated as reserve team leaders and line supervisors, laying a solid foundation for the development of more front line and grassroots technical backbones in the future.
Following the flag‑presenting ceremony, the Fifth New‑Era Secondary Vocational School Skills Competition of Yingtan City officially commenced. Attending guests visited the Wodeer exhibition hall and proceeded to the competition venue, where they witnessed firsthand the students’ impressive performances. The competition events held at the Wodeer sub‑venue focused on the assembly of Wodeer’s flagship products—electro hydraulic actuators and pressure sensors. With deft movements and skilled hands working swiftly, component after component took shape in an orderly and efficient manner. This skills competition not only served as a comprehensive assessment of students’ technical capabilities, but also represented a practical test of the tangible achievements of industry–education integration in recent years.
The event was attended by Mr. Guojun Xiao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yingtan Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department; Mr. Shuangwen Xu, Deputy Director of the Yingtan Municipal People’s Congress; Mr. Jianhua Mao, Vice Mayor of Yingtan City; and Mr. Zhixin Xi, Vice Chairman of the Yingtan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, among other officials.
